Martin Penalised After Bezzecchi Hungary Turn 1 Crash Chaos

Jorge Martin’s Hungary nightmare began on the opening corner. Martin lost control under braking for Turn 1 and slammed into Aprilia team-mate Bezzecchi, also collecting Di Giannantonio, Raul Fernandez and Fermin Aldeguer in the carnage. Bezzecchi and Martin went to the medical centre with no fractures found. MotoGP Stewards announced a penalty for Martin after the race. Marquez immediately took 25 points out of Bezzecchi’s title lead thanks to the incident. At Motegi last season. At Balaton this year. Martin and team-mates do not mix well.
