TT organisers have made significant changes to the 2026 qualifying schedule to reduce the risk of weather disruption. Wednesday May 27 will feature both daytime and evening qualifying sessions on the same day, with the full course closing from 12.30pm for Qualifying 3, reopening at 4.30pm and then closing again from 6pm for Qualifying 4. The Isle of Man TT 2027 dates are officially confirmed. The event runs from Monday 31st May to Saturday 12th June 2027, with TT 2028 provisionally set for Monday 29th May to Saturday 10th June 2028. Qualifying week runs from May 31 to June 4, with racing beginning on June 5 and the Senior TT closing proceedings on June 12. Fans, teams and travellers now have maximum time to plan. Defending Superbike winner Davey Todd has been declared medically unfit for the 2026 Isle of Man TT. Despite intensive rehabilitation in Italy following a major crash at the Daytona 200 in March, medical specialists concluded his injuries, including fractures to his femur and tibia, have not sufficiently recovered. Michael Dunlop has gone unbeaten in the TT Supersport class since racing resumed in 2022 and seeds sixth for 2026. Mike Browne leads the class from number one on Yamaha R9 machinery making its Mountain Course debut, with Paul Jordan second on a Ducati after switching from Honda.
