Quartararo Hungary Retirement Adds to Worst MotoGP Season in Years

Fabio Quartararo’s Hungarian Grand Prix ended in the pits without completing the race distance. Quartararo was running 16th after serving a long lap penalty when he retired to the pits. After admitting he had no motivation at Mugello, no grip at Balaton in practice and no answers from Yamaha on development, retiring from a race he was already last in summarises 2026 for the 2021 world champion. Honda next year cannot come soon enough.
