Ai Ogura took his first MotoGP pole position in style with a new all-time lap record at the Czech Grand Prix, putting in a 1m51.139s to head the field at Brno. Di Giannantonio was 0.2 seconds back in second, with Bagnaia completing the front row. Ogura becomes the sixth different polesitter in 2026 and the first Japanese rider on pole since the 2020 Teruel Grand Prix.
