British Superbike Changes 2027 Rules After Ducati Dominance

The British Superbike Championship will introduce major technical changes in 2027, including Balance of Performance rules designed to bring different manufacturers closer together. Ducati has dominated the 2026 season, winning 23 of the first 31 races, according to Visordown. The new system targets around 200bhp and introduces controlled electronics. BSB says the changes aim to improve competition and reduce costs, rather than target one manufacturer specifically.
