Pedro Acosta says his decision to join Ducati for 2027 was driven by the chance to ride competitive machinery and learn from Marc Márquez, not to beat him on equal equipment. The Spaniard also disputed KTM CEO Gottfried Neumeister’s account of their discussions, insisting he never negotiated over staying. Acosta believes learning from Márquez will benefit his career, even if he loses their direct battle.
