VR46 Close to New Ducati Deal Despite Aprilia Approach and Rossi Sale Talk

Valentino Rossi’s VR46 team is closing in on a new three-year Ducati deal covering 2027 to 2029, despite Aprilia making exploratory approaches over the winter. Team principal Uccio Salucci confirmed VR46 never seriously considered leaving Ducati, saying only small details remain before signing. Reports also suggest Rossi could be open to selling the team amid rising investor interest following Liberty Media’s MotoGP acquisition.
