Marc Marquez believes MotoGP’s switch to 850cc engines in 2027 could produce lap times that are similar or even faster than current machines. The reigning champion argues reduced weight and improved handling will compensate for lower horsepower. Marquez also warned that nobody can guarantee which manufacturer will produce the best bike under the new regulations. The 2027 reset is wide open.
