Qatar Grand Prix Could Become First Ever December MotoGP Race in 2026

MotoGP CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta has confirmed the Qatar Grand Prix is unlikely to take place in its scheduled April slot amid ongoing Middle East hostilities, but insists a Plan B is firmly in place. Reports now suggest the race could be rescheduled to December, potentially making it the first ever MotoGP season finale held outside of Europe and the first December race in championship history.
