Toprak Learns Hard MotoGP Lesson in Thailand: The M1 Is Not a Superbike

Toprak Razgatlioglu made significant progress at the Thailand MotoGP opener after accepting the Yamaha M1 cannot be ridden like a Superbike. The three time WorldSBK champion spent winter testing trying to replicate his Superbike setup on the prototype before realising there are things he should not compromise. Yamaha boss Paolo Pavesio confirmed satisfaction with Toprak’s debut, saying he managed to ride very close to the other Yamaha riders.
