Marquez Doubts He Will Match Rossi Career Milestone as Body Takes Its Toll

Reigning MotoGP champion Marc Marquez has ruled out matching Valentino Rossi’s remarkable career longevity, insisting he will not race until the age of 40. Speaking at an event in Brazil, the 33 year old said he hopes to extend his career as long as possible but acknowledged multiple surgeries make a Rossi style farewell tour impossible. Marquez described himself as being in his final dance as a rider.
