MotoGP shortens Brazil race following Goiania track issues

The Brazil MotoGP main race lap distance was reduced shortly before the start after officials raised concerns about track surface degradation at Goiania. Heavy rain earlier in the week damaged sections of the circuit following MotoGP return to Brazil after 22 years. Organisers chose to shorten the race to ensure rider safety.
