Álex Márquez was the leading Ducati rider in the Silverstone Sprint, finishing fourth as Aprilia swept the podium. He managed the rear-tyre problems better than the other Ducati riders after experiencing similar grip issues during practice. Márquez admitted Ducati may have been better served by the medium rear tyre, but the late tyre decision left little time to change strategy.
