Aprilia achieved a major MotoGP milestone at Silverstone by taking its first Sprint podium lockout. Jorge Martín won ahead of Trackhouse Aprilia rider Ai Ogura, with factory teammate Marco Bezzecchi third. The result also moved Bezzecchi into third in the championship, 27 points behind Martín. Aprilia’s performance marked a major advantage over Ducati in the first Sprint after MotoGP’s summer break.
