MotoGP confirmed Marc Marquez broke no regulations when he cut across the grass and into pitlane after crashing at the final corner in the Jerez Sprint. Race Direction bulletins issued before the weekend stated only the solid white line on the inside of the pit entry cannot be crossed. No rule covered the outer line on pit entry, which Marquez used. The FIM stewards investigated briefly but found no reason for further action.
