He Shouldn’t Have Won: Zarco Hits Out Over Marquez Jerez Shortcut

Johann Zarco argued that without the crash and resulting shortcut, Marquez would have arrived at the pits a lap too late and would not have won the Sprint. The Frenchman said he found it honestly very strange that no penalty was issued, adding that he did not believe Marquez knew the rules better than anyone and that he just got very lucky. Zarco had qualified second and ran at the front before the chaos unfolded.
