Marc Marquez Track Limits Cost Him Front Row at Brno

Defending Brno winner Marc Marquez was left without a lap time after exceeding track limits on his first run in Q2, eventually ending up fifth on the grid.  Marquez had set the initial pace with a 1m51.856s before his Ducati teammate Bagnaia improved ahead of him, and Marquez fell 0.053s short of Bagnaia’s time on his final attempt.  A rare off day in qualifying for the reigning champion.
