Marco Bezzecchi has won five consecutive MotoGP races and leads the 2026 championship with Aprilia now the reference bike ahead of Ducati. But his weakness is clear. He crashed out of the Sprint in both Thailand and Austin, leaving around 21 points on the table. That Sprint inconsistency could prove fatal to his title bid, just as it did for Bagnaia in 2024.
