Martin Admits Losing Control as Double Long Lap Penalty Follows Hungary Crash

Jorge Martin held nothing back after wiping out five riders at Turn 1 in Hungary. Martin acknowledged he lost control of his Aprilia under braking and accepted full responsibility. The FIM Stewards handed him a double long lap penalty to be served at the Czech Grand Prix at Brno. It was the second time Martin had triggered a similar crash into Bezzecchi, having done the same at the Motegi sprint last season. Aprilia boss Massimo Rivola said he would have accepted a harsher penalty.
