MotoGP Considers F1-Style Budget Cap

MotoGP could eventually introduce an F1-style budget cap to control team spending and reduce escalating development costs. Sporting director Carlos Ezpeleta said the championship would not oppose a cost cap if manufacturers jointly requested one. MotoGP already limits areas such as testing, engine development and aerodynamic upgrades, but a full spending limit would require strict monitoring and agreement across the manufacturers.
