Ai Ogura delighted Indonesian fans by finishing second in the Sprint at Mandalika. The Trackhouse Aprilia rider capitalised on the crashes ahead and delivered a strong performance to secure a home region podium. He crossed the line 0.509 seconds behind Marc Márquez, giving Aprilia a positive result despite the early retirements of Raúl Fernández and Marco Bezzecchi. Ogura also moved closer to the leading group in the championship standings.
