Quartararo P7 in Jerez Sprint But Says Yamaha Laps Are Six Years Old

Fabio Quartararo crossed the line seventh in the chaotic Jerez Sprint — his best result of 2026. But the Frenchman found no comfort in it. Quartararo said he felt no emotion after the race, adding that Yamaha was posting the same lap times he recorded at Jerez six years ago. He has already described riding the V4 as feeling like the first time he ever got on a motorcycle.
