Tyre Pressure Penalties Flip Catalunya MotoGP Final Results

Five riders received 16 second tyre pressure penalties after the Catalan Grand Prix, with Joan Mir dropping from second to 13th, costing Honda their first podium of 2026. Rins, Miller, Razgatlioglu and Fernandez were also penalised, while Bagnaia was cleared after his low pressure was attributed to a leaking wheel rim. Aldeguer moved to second, Bagnaia to third and Bezzecchi to fourth. The chaos of two restarts is believed to have caused the widespread tyre pressure issues.
