Yamaha Mixed Friday in Brazil as Quartararo Reaches Q2 and Rins Falls Just Short

Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins completed their first laps around the Autodromo Internacional Ayrton Senna on Friday at the Brazilian Grand Prix. Quartararo defied worsening rain conditions in the middle stages of practice to claim seventh and secure automatic Q2 access. Rins ended Friday in 13th, narrowly missing Q2 after initially holding a top ten position before the rain intensified and locked the order.
